Parteen GAA & Camogie club would like to thank everyone for making 2018 such a great year. It’s a volunteer organisation and we are lucky to have so many volunteers that give so much. Thank you to all our coaches, first aiders, committee members, those that looked after the facilities and the pitch, the bakers, tea & coffee makers, fundraisers and all who support our fundraising events. Thanks to our supporters for their encouragement and support from the sidelines and finally thank you to our players, adult and juvenile who are a credit to themselves, their club and their families both on and off the pitch.

Before we sign out for 2018 we would like to highlight 2 upcoming events.

Sun 16th Dec: Christmas Coffee Morning and Bake Sale at 11am in Brownes pub. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and mulled wine. A lovely way to start the lead up to Christmas week. All members of the community are invited and all support is greatly appreciated. Please drop home baked goods to Brownes pub from 10am.

Fri 28th Dec: Club night in McMahons pub at 8:30pm. All members and supporters come join us for our Christmas get together. Special draw on the night for 2 excellent tickets for Premier League match Liverpool V Huddersfield on 27th April 2019 at 3pm. Runnerup spot prizes. Tickets from any executive member.

Please also put the following date in your diaries:

Sat 20th April: The club will hold the 20K Drop fundraiser in The Radisson hotel. Our clubhouse is nearly finished but we do have a bank loan we need to pay so we are looking for your support in what promises to be a great family night out. More details early 2019.

Please also note that as per GAA rules all players must be registered before they start training. Coaches will be in touch when training resumes and we ask you to respect our registration policy – Club registrar will be present at the 1st and 2nd training session for each age group and we ask parents/ adult players to register then.
