Thank you to our club members and friends that attended the Official Opening Ceremony of our fantastic new clubhouse. There was a great turnout for the Family Fun Day with lots of activity and fun for all.
We would like to thank Robert Frost (former Clare & Munster GAA chairman) for officiating the opening and Fr Purcell PP for giving our new clubhouse a blessing.
There was plenty of entertainment from Irish dancing, thank you to Sharon O’Brien Scoil Rince Ui Bhriain and her dancers, to traditional music from Ciaran O’Connell, Johnny Prenderville, Noel Kelly and Andrew Murphy.
Thank you to Dr Yoga Nathan and his team of medical students who spent the afternoon running health checks on all willing attendees.
Our face painters did a fantastic job. Thank you Lauren Gavin, Aoife Keogh and Tara Quaid.
Thank you to Alan Doran for his sponsorship of a marquee for the afternoon.
Thank you to Clodagh from Tesco Westbury for providing platters of fruit & bottles of water for the day. Our own coaches, Conor Nestor & Barry, and club treasurer Pat Cooney manned the barbecues.
Our Junior Camogie and Intermediate players ran the games stations, thank you to them. Well done to all those that took part in the activities. A special mention must go to the winner of the ‘Hang Tough’ competition, none other than ……. Jimmy ‘The Silver Fox’ Pierce!
Thank you to those that volunteered there time in the shop, Sorcha, Sinéad Fitz, Caroline, Tracy, Carla, Sinéad N., Simone - it was a busy day.

Thanks to those that spent the week preparing the clubhouse and it’s grounds for this special day. Also to those that setup beforehand and cleaned up afterwards.
Lastly, thank you to the organising committee of Éanna Mulvihill, Marie Connelly and team for organising such a successful day for us all.
It was an absolutely fantastic day for the club and the parish and here is to many more in our new facility.
